Payment Policy

Last updated: October 4, 2026

Thank you for shopping with Pure Guard Cases. This Payment Policy explains how payments work on https://pureguardcases.com, including accepted methods, when you are charged, and how we protect your payment information.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following at checkout:

  • Credit and debit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB, Maestro, and UnionPay
  • Digital wallets: Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • PayPal

The methods available to you may vary by device, browser, and billing address. Only the methods shown at checkout can be used. We do not accept checks, cash, money orders, wire transfers, or cash on delivery.

Currency and Pricing

All prices are in U.S. dollars (USD). If your card is issued outside the United States, your bank may apply currency conversion or foreign transaction fees. We do not control these fees.

Sales tax is collected where required by law and shown at checkout before you pay. Shipping is free on all orders to supported addresses, as described in our Shipping Policy.

When You Are Charged

Your payment method is charged when you place your order. Some banks show a temporary authorization hold before the final charge posts. If your order is canceled or an item is out of stock, the hold or charge is released or refunded as described in our Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

Payment Security

Payments are processed by third-party providers, including Shopify Payments and PayPal, over secure, encrypted connections. We do not store your full card number or security code. We may receive limited information, such as the last four digits of your card, the card type, and your billing address, to manage your order and support requests. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.

Billing Information

You must use a payment method you are authorized to use, and you must provide accurate billing information. Your billing address should match the one on file with your card issuer.

Declined or Failed Payments

If your payment is declined, no order is created. Common causes include an incorrect card number, billing address mismatch, insufficient funds, or a bank security block. Please check your details and try again, use another payment method, or contact your card issuer.

Fraud Prevention

To protect customers and our store, we use fraud detection tools and may review orders before shipping. We may ask you to verify your identity or payment details. We may cancel or refuse any order that appears fraudulent, unauthorized, or in violation of our Terms of Service, and we will refund any payment taken for a canceled order.

Pricing or Listing Errors

We make every effort to price products correctly. If a pricing or description error affects your order, we may cancel the order and issue a full refund.

Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We issue them within 10 business days of approval, but your bank or card company may need additional time to post the funds. We cannot refund to a different card or method than the one used for the purchase.

Duplicate or Unrecognized Charges

If you see a duplicate or unfamiliar charge, please contact us right away with your order number and the last four digits of the card used. Note that a pending authorization hold can look like a second charge and usually disappears on its own.

Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, please contact us first so we can resolve it quickly. You may also have the right to dispute a charge with your card issuer or PayPal under applicable law. Filing a dispute for an order that was delivered as described may result in us providing order and delivery records to your card issuer or PayPal.
